The treatment is carried out in a professional clinic. To begin, your practitioner will assess the size and shape of the targeted fat area and mark it precisely on the skin. There’s no need for anaesthetic — you’ll remain awake and comfortable throughout.

A specialised handheld applicator is then used to cool the fat cells located beneath the skin. A protective gel pad is placed on the treatment area first, ensuring the surface stays safe during the process. The applicator gently draws the fatty tissue into its chamber using light suction. You may notice a firm pulling or tugging feeling at first, along with sensations of cold, tingling, or mild aching — these typically fade within 5–10 minutes as the area becomes numb.

The fat layer is slowly cooled to a precise temperature between 30°F and 39°F, targeting fat cells without affecting surrounding tissue. Each session usually lasts around one hour per area. Once complete, the device is removed and the treated zone is lightly massaged for a few minutes to help stimulate further fat breakdown and improve results.
